Georgios (George) Kyrou is the founder of the sustainable fashion project μοτίβω (motivo), and country coordinator for Fashion Revolution, in Cyprus.
His work focuses on social and environmental awareness, with workshops and events surrounding re-use, up-cycling, and Zero waste living. More specifically his project Motivω looks at military garments, repurposing local supplies into new items and washing away the war. With Fashion Revolution Cyprus, George and the team of activists have put together festivals, educational events and have created a map where the public can find second hand, vintage, local craftspeople, small brands and many more.
